This is a short notice that there has been a slight change in rules for the Featured folder in Unusual-Manips.
From today on it is no longer allowed for members to submit to this folder. The works in this folder will now be selected by the group staff.
I've emptied the featured folder by moving any art that was in there to their respective themed folders. After that I re-filled the Featured folder with art I believe is suitable.
The main reason for this rule change, is that some people post to the Featured folder regularly, while others never do. I think this causes an imbalance. Art will now be picked based on how well it suits the groups' goals and ideas, and in part the technical quality of the artwork.

Treasure hunt - winners
The treasure hunt for unusual objects has been a success :D
Extending the deadline proved to have been a good choice, we ended up with 23 entries!

6 Days left - Treasure hunt!
Calling all members to take part in the treasure hunt for unusual objects! :D
No need to be a stock provider to take part.
Just take any camera (phone camera will do fine!) and photograph the most unusual object you can find. :dummy:

So far we have only 7 entries from 4 participants. Though I am hoping for many more cool finds from many more members.
Because there are only 6 days left to take part, here's a friendly reminder.
Climb up to the attic or down in the basement, visit a local thrift store or abandoned place and see what strange things you can find. :dummy: I'm sure there are some crazy and inspirational things
